spent batteries to EPA-approved smelters where the lead and plastic are recycled to make new batteries and products.

Battery users also have a hand in protecting the environment. Be sure to use batteries that ensure their full service life, and return your spent battery when you purchase
a new one.

RECYCLING TIPS

Ask your sales representative to discuss any recycling questions you may have. Rechargeable batteries containing cadmium or lead should be recycled. Return worn-out lead-acid batteries like car batteries to be recycled to make new batteries and products. Ask your sales representative if she or he can help you get death certificates for EPA audits. Call your local government recycling coordinator for the nearest recycling center or bring them back to us.
